Clean Checks Week 8

Well you all did well on the ovens... now on to the Tub, Tile and Chrome~
What does this mean?
Well the tub needs to be scrubbed to its normal glorious white!
(A nice scrubby sponge and some commet or Soft Scrub will do the trick!)
All your fixtures including faucets, towel racks etc need to be shiny and clean.
Make sure the drain is free of any hair or debris.
Make sure you rinse the tub nicely so that there is no residue from the cleaner.
Scrub down all the tile the same as the tub and rinse so it is nice and shiny!
Make sure there are no water spots on the fixtures as well.

*Some tools to help*
Scrubby sponge (like the yellow and green ones)
Soft Scrub with bleach
A toothbrush for the grout lines in the tile.
White vinegar gets rid of the hard water great!
(If you soak your shower head in a baggie full of white vinegar over night and then scrub it gently with a rag or toothbrush, the hard water deposits will disappear and you will have fantastic water pressure~!)

Clean Checks Week 6

*Are there any black spots inside the oven?
*Are there any white streaks?
*Are there any sticky surfaces?
*Any damage done that wasn't there before?
*Is the glass shiny and clean?

What Time: 7-8 pm
Who: Barnes, Chapman, and Perkins Halls
Come dressed to play games like giant twister and Glow in the dark Volley Ball~

What a week for clean checks! You are all going to love it! We are doing the surveys this week~! Check your email for the link, fill it out, and then you have no clean checks! Let me know that you have it done by Thursday!

Valentine's Board

Have you noticed the large bulletin board in lounge! Well we have created a valentines board! You can come in any time and write a note to anybody in the dorm! Put it in their envelope and make their day! It would be great to have you all participate! Happy Valentine-ing!

· Are decorations put up using non caustic materials

· Sticky tack or command hooks

· Are the garbage cans empty and washed inside and out?

· Are there objects attached to any ceiling in the apartment?

· Is the microwave clean inside and out.

I just wanted to remind you to renew your contracts for Fall 2012! On February 17th they go public so anybody can sign up. If you do it before then, you can stay in your room or choose the room you wish to have! And.... I want you ALL to come back~
